Frequently asked questions
What is a trial and do I need one?
Yes- your trial is the chance to see your hair and makeup ideas come to life- I recommend that you compile some pictures of inspiration and together we can work out any tweaks and changes you may wish to make. Sometimes the vision in your mind doesn't translate to reality so you may need to try something else. I recommend you wear your hair and makeup after the trial, to see how you get on throughout the day.
Hair and makeup trials usually last around 2 hours- sometimes they are slightly more/less depending on each individual bride and look.
To prepare yourself for the trial, I recommend you wear your everyday makeup so that I can get a feel for how you like to wear your own makeup, with your hair clean and dry- I'll let you know if your chosen hairstyle requires a wash and blow dry for the wedding day.
If you have any sensitivities or would just like to use certain products of your own, I'm always happy to do this- please have them with you at the trial.
Does the makeup cost include lashes?
Yes it does! I carry small individual cluster lashes with me- these will last the full day. Please note that these are not semi permanent lash extensions. I also carry a variety of strip lashes, but I recommend the use of individual lashes on your wedding day as they blend more seamlessly to create a beautiful but natural look.
Do you use hair extensions?
Yes- I'm a fan of adding some clip in hair extensions to create your dream wedding hair, but you'll need to supply your own for a trial and the big day. I'm happy to advise on where to go for this and how many to buy.
Do you offer discounts for large weddings?
I don't discount my prices as I believe I'm worth every penny! I understand that having a larger wedding party, costs can add up. However, a larger wedding party also means I will need to bring an assistant to ensure everyone is ready in time and has a relaxing morning, so I can't offer a discount for a larger party I'm afraid.
Can I have a trial before confirming my wedding day hair and makeup?
You have two options on how to secure your date:
1. You can pay a £50 deposit to book in your wedding date. We can then book your trial in at a time convenient for you, after the trial a further £50 deposit will be due to secure your wedding date booking.
2. You can book your trial before paying the deposit. I won't book a trial more than 1 month in advance if you haven't already paid the deposit. After the trial a £100 deposit will be due.

Why does bridal makeup cost more?
There are much more expectations about bridal hair & make-up, aswell as hands on support around the clock leading up to your big day. Bridal looks are bespoke, luxurious and have been created between the client and make-up artist prior to the event, and need to hold for longer hours than usual occasion hair or make-up, and be picture perfect. It takes more time, specific use of products, must be photo friendly as you'll be spending lots of time being photographed and these will be pictures you'll want to cherish and be confident knowing you looked your absolute best.
